The Glorious Green Terror

I kept some of the leftover minnows from last weeks fishing trip, intending them to be little more than punching bags for our three central and south american cichlids (Green Terror, Jack Dempsey, and Convict). I never expected that our cichlids would possibly be able to eat these fish. I was proven very wrong. The 6 minnows i put in didnt even last 2 hours. The Green Terror alone ate three of them (he is the largest fish we have at ~4 in.) The Jack Dempsey also delighted in killing the minnows, and the Convict (not nearly big enough to eat minnows yet, but enjoys the guppies we get him sometimes - cichlids won't generally eat fish that will not fit entirely into their mouths) helped to pick up the scraps.
